Smoke alarms: 240 V hard-wired, battery backup, photoelectric (AS 3786), interconnected — one in the bedroom and on the path of travel (corridor + living).
Wet areas: fittings observe shower zones & IP ratings; bath GPO is a shaver point clear of the zone; exhaust fans ducted to outside.
Heights (typ.): GPO 300 mm AFF; over-bench GPO ~150 mm above splashback; switches 1000–1100 mm.
Confirm appliance circuits: oven, cooktop/hob, rangehood, dishwasher, microwave, heated towel rail, HWS, A/C.
